This restoration project in East Hendred, Oxfordshire required our specialist DOFF steam cleaning equipment to ensure the brickwork was not damaged during the cleaning process.

As well as cleaning new build houses, we also have the specialist skills and equipment to clean more delicate surfaces, and this old house needed a gentler touch. That didn't stop us cleaning off decades of dirt and organic matter to reveal the original apprearance beneath.

Whilst the temperature in the DOFF system is high, the pressure on the surface being cleaned is very gentle and the volume of water is low. The surface is therefore not saturated and will be dry within minutes. The steam/superheated water will remove paint, moss, algae, fungi and other biological matter and will also kill off spores. This means there’s then no need to use a chemical biocide during the removal process or as a protection against further biological activity.

This project also required our team to work at height and alongside a variety of other trades who were also part of the project.
